What and why we need Democracy?

We need democracy because we have seen and heard a time period of thousands of years that there used to be a king and a queen. The love story of both was so deep that a war took place between two empires. Such numerous stories we have heard from our childhood till now.

So, now we are discussing here that what happened that now every country is maximally avoiding kingship and adopting democracy.

Abraham Lincoln Quote: “Democracy is government of the people, by the people and for the people”.

Now here these quotes of Abraham Lincoln are very good, it means Abraham Lincoln had given the definition of democracy in the 19th century, when civil war was going on in America. Because Abraham Lincoln wanted to stop the expansion of slavery in America. And in such situations it is very important to have such statements so as to motivate people to bring changes in the country.

We should not accept anything which is very famous in our society or in our world. We should accept anything only when there is a need for it, and not that if everybody is accepting then we also accept it.

In the same way, democracy is also a game. There are some countries in the world which are still not democratic, monarchy government is still running there like Saudi Arabia, United Kingdom etc.

Now in democracy everyone has the right to come as normal people but only up to a certain level in democracy. Till the time one has a good level of convincing power to attract people through his words and actions. And once the people have come to you, then you can comfortably welcome yourself in democracy.

And here there is no definition for anything, we should understand things and on the basis of that understanding we should give our own definition. Now if someone has given some definition, then that definition will not remain correct for thousands of years. The definition changes with time and we should be like this, in countries where demand for things increases and there is a need. Then making changes in the definition accordingly is a sign of a progressing mind and also of the society.
